Casson Capital is a privately held investment office based on the Isle of Man. We focus on private credit and opportunistic equity across media and entertainment.
We structure, originate and manage opportunities in niches we understand, with an emphasis on asset-based lending and receivables finance. We have £9m deployed across our media portfolio.
We also take opportunistic equity in productions, usually as gap finance or a minority position, where we know the producers and the recoupment is clear.
Alongside our own investing, we support producers on financing their productions. We structure the budget, the recoupment and the mix of debt and equity, and stay involved as executive producer where it makes sense.
The firm is a private vehicle, founded by Jacob Casson, founder of MONET. Casson Capital Limited is wholly owned by Casson Capital Holdings Limited.
Our philosophy is simple: capital in the creative industries should be patient, disciplined and deployed where it compounds over time. We are selective in the opportunities we pursue and in the partners we work with.
Jacob Casson
Jacob Casson is the founder of Casson Capital and the founder of MONET, his private vehicle. He works in private credit and media finance, structuring asset-based lending, receivables finance and gap finance for film, television and entertainment productions, and serves as executive producer on selected projects.
Casson Capital and MONET are both founded by Jacob Casson and operate from the Isle of Man.
